US Americans residing here in Mazatlán, as well as their friends, were able to show our outrage with Donald Trump’s inanities yesterday, thanks to Oneil McGean of Cafe Playa Sur. Oneil filled two Trump-look-alike piñatas with candy, coins and hair combs (!), so that we could constructively and therapeutically release our feelings about his racist statements. Take a look: Kids and adults alike got in on the fun. Click on any photo below to enlarge it or to view a slideshow.
Those attending were so eager to hit the piñatas that I believe we could have destroyed about 20 of them. Thank you, Cafe Playa Sur, for this corrective and liberating event!

Yes, most Mexican families ARE Good People!
However, YOU American Expatriates, LEFT the USA, because of the High Cost of Living, AND for whatever other reasons.
However, I have lived not only in various states, including Alaska, BUT… I have lived & taught school in Nanjing, China for 4-years! Ohhh, I went Legally & each 1-2 years I would renew my Chinese Visa for the “Time Period AND, the Chinese Government ALWAYS Had to know WHERE I resided! My Wife & I owned a Very Beautiful home in the Beautiful suburb of Venice Water City, across the Yangtze River from the city proper.
We had Family & Friends who were Well-to-Do, but most were either average regular families, some were poor, BUT…whatever they had, they would happily invite us to eat with them, which we enjoyed just “Being With Them!” Beautiful, Beautiful, Very Lovely people!
The Chinese Families ARE Very Loving, Caring Families.
When I would be walking down the main streets of Nanjing (Population over 6 million) sidewalk street vendors
In China, no matter where I walked (Daytime, or at night), whether it was with my Chinese wife, or alone, I felt safe. I could walk in areas that in the USA, I would not dare to walk, because of the potential dangers!!!
NEVER did I have Any Fear when alone walking down their out of the main area streets!
Whereas, in the USA, there is No Way I would feel safe walking in various parts of East Los Angeles, of 5-Points, in Denver, Colorado, or in Certain neighborhoods in East San Jose, California!!!
In the USA, We are Quite Happy to have our “Legal Immigrants from ALL Countries!”
However, WHAT would happen to YOU & Your Families in Mexico, or most ANY Country, IF… YOU entered ILLEGALLY, Thereby showing Complete Disrespect for that country, and THEN, to make matters worse, drive under the influence of Drugs, or Alcohol & KILL Children, or other people, sometimes Entire Families because of your idiocy & complete Lack of Respect for anyone, AND… OUR COUNTRY???
In China, I was ALWAYS RESPECTFUL & FOLLOWED THEIR LAWS!!!
Sure Good Families of ANY of Any Country Are Loving, Respectful Families, BUT… like WE have our own Deadly Criminals which is bad enough, We Do NOT Want to inherit Mexico’s, or ANY Other Countries Criminals who will Rob, Rape AND KILL Our Families!!!
So… Remember also, the families from Mexico, or from ANY Other Country that comes to the USA, assimilate with us, like in my residential condo complex where I live now which has families from All Over The World… AND, You Know what??? We ALL Are Respectful & CARING of one another!!!
The “Illegal Aliens,” who come here have taken many, many jobs from Fellow Americans of ALL RACES, thereby no only lowering the wages, because of competition, but also “Take the Jobs of USA Americans, AND Legal Immigrants, thereby Causing our USA Americans AND Other Legal Immigrants to have to compete for these jobs, cause a lower wage income, AND also, Not Get Jobs!
Plus, it is the “Taxpayers” who have to pay for “Their Medical & Hospital Bills Incurred!”

Thank you for sharing your comments, Jerry. The length and capital letters would seem to indicate you have strong feelings. Yes, as you say, we are expats in Mexico legally, and we follow the laws, as do so many immigrants in the USA. Last year Chinese immigrants outnumbered Mexican immigrants to the USA for the first time in decades.
While we do agree on what seems to be your main point, I am by no means anti-American. I love my birth country dearly, and I do not appreciate you calling me traitorous or my actions bullshit. That is a cheap shot and not constructive to dialogue. Donald Trump bashing is NOT bashing the USA, and I’m sure if you give that some thought you can see the difference.
